The planimetric system is closely linked to the use of the manufactured article and consequently to the architectural references of the Ravenna homestead’s rural tradition.
For the area characteristics of the Ravenna plain, the barn assumes a noteworthy importance in the "living block", so much so that it identifies the size of the entire building with its length and, as a result, imposes its positioning behind the residential part.
This means inversion of the house’s organization: the façade is no longer lengthwise but widthwise. By all of these premises the planning proposal is arranged, devoting the "block" to the hay barn and rendering the above reflections extreme.
