The plan treated of recovery of a debased area comprising city-style Rimini buildings behind the area of the Fiabilandia Theme Park and the town’s Public Sporting area. This ‘hole’ is characterised by absolute de-contextualisation of the urban structure existing disposition, a contextual eyesore in the centre of an already deficient suburb inasmuch as public areas and services be concerned.
Respecting planning, the solution furnished the Fiabilandia area with parking spaces, public parking and equipping the suburb with a contracted residential building settlement. Via the creation of a 45° planimetric rotation in the orientation of the existing set up, a building composition which calls to mind vaguely-discernable seaside towers.
Thus, whilst maintaining a low building density of high urban quality with a recognised set up which is characterised in its turn by an identifying prism of historical recollection, an urban agglomeration is created.
