Maioli House
Ravenna (RA)

The house consists of a complex building of four factory parts assembled together in successive periods (during construction, documentation and characteristics of the original medieval system emerged).

The project is articulated in works of functional adaptation and precise consolidation and preservation restoring operations: the initial works were geared towards recovering and adjusting the living spaces concerning characteristic elements of the factory parts; those which followed are guided by the criterion of minimal invasiveness as suggested by what emerged from construction underway and based upon tradition in respect of building materials and techniques.
