A complex system owing to the concentration and composition of its containers (two receiving hotel buildings of 15000 m sq each; a Conference Centre of 6000 m sq, a thermal bath terminal of 3000 m sq, a parking exchanger, stretching out over the area beginning with a part of the banks at the waterfront separating Latisana from Lignano, (and reaching until Tagliamento) to coast the golf course (of about 27 holes), and descend finally into the urban spiral characterising Lignano Pineta. The challenge of merging utility and great specialised containers of the historical, technological and functionally necessary character all into one, i.e. functionality alongside the more evident signs of the area; a frontier experiment. |
